Arjunarista

Arjunarishta (also called Parthadyarishta) is an ayurvedic liquid medicine prepared using the natural fermentation method. Aarjunarista is formulated with the main ingredient arjuna, an excellent hridaya (cardiac protective) dravya, phuphusa (lung protective) dravya and udardhara (urticaria) dravya.

It corrects the functioning of the heart by enhancing the action of the heart muscles. It is useful in Pranavaha srota disorders as it helps in increasing the capacity and efficiency of the lungs; it also benefits Rakta Pradara and Rakta Atisara due to the Raktastambaka property of Arjuna.

Dosage : The general dosage of Arjunarishta is as follows. Children :  10 ml (2 tsp.) * Adults     :   20 ml (4 tsp.) * Geriatric (Old age):   20 ml (4 tsp.) * Maximum Possible Dosage : 60 ml (12 tsp.) in divided doses. Twice a day with equal amount of water.
